A highly recommend compilation, remixed by kid loco aka Jean-Yves Prieur, from the high peak of trip hop music (commercial wise). it marks a time in the late 90's. quite interesting here the groups he was remixing for. more an independent album on one hand, but certainly still a strong trip hop album on the other hand. THE PASTELS remix right in the beginning is a classic already in somehow. URIEL 's remix is a strong DJ Shadow tune in my opinion. PULP's remix is a smoother in the best way. And it goes on and on. A Journey. One of the faves of the late 90's. Just read the artists he was remixing for: Pulp. High Llamas. St. Eienne. The Pastels. Mogwai. Talvin Singh. To name a few. This is a Journey which you might like. The Sleeve art is 70's like original. nice image anyway. A compilation which will probably not get a Reissue someday. Probably not.
